HERO Hound Rescue has a reputation of taking the beagles & hounds who are the most urgent due to medical needs, advance age and behavioral needs. These dogs often need expensive emergency veterinary care, costly advanced surgical procedures, heartworm treatments, dental surgeries in addition to traditional veterinary care.

FOSTER

Fosters save lives and HERO hounds is always looking for fosters in Middle Tennessee.

Fostering requires love, a willingness to work on basic training (house & crate training, leash walking, etc.) until your foster pup’s perfect furever home is found. Supplies can be provided by HERO.

TRANSPORT OPPORTUNITIES

As a 100% volunteer organization, we use volunteer transporters to help us get dogs to HERO Rescue & onto their furever families across the US. These transports are posted on our Facebook page.
